Michelle Wormwood, Stoney Brook’s Dog Groomer, joined the staff in 2013, but has been in the field since 2010. Twice a week, she works to transform your muddy, scruffy canine friends into the beautiful fluffballs that are hiding beneath those fun-loving dogs. Michelle likes the atmosphere at Stoney Brook because the staff works hard to help each other every day and are always available to discuss questions that arise with clients.

Michelle has a bit of a menagerie at home and is passionate about training Vladimir, her Mini Poodle, to do tricks (he knows roughly 14!). The rest of her crew include Jeele, a Moyen Poodle; Pandora, a Maine Coon mix; and Veil, a Ferret.

Michelle is looking forward to getting her degree as a Veterinary Technician and will be starting school in the fall of 2016. While she still has free time, she likes to explore her artsy side through drawing, crafting, and playing bass guitar. She also enjoys hiking and being outside with the dogs.
