Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital Staff

Mandi Potter has worked in the animal care field since 2003. She worked at a local small animal hospital as the hospital manager for several years and worked as a receptionist and veterinary technician at an equine practice on a part-time basis. Mandi has a lot to bring to Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital, not only because of her previous experience working in veterinary hospitals, but also because of her Bachelor's degree in Business Management and the degree in marketing she is currently pursuing. In her spare time, Mandi volunteers for the local rescue squad as an EMT and is a member of the local equestrian club. Mandi and her husband Dan, along with their two children, Cole and Bryce, enjoy their many animals, which include two horses, a pony, a black lab, and many geese, ducks and chickens. Mandi is also the animal control officer for her town.

Anastasia Seyer has worked in the animal care field in various capacities since 2000. She has worked as a pet-sitter, a veterinary assistant, technician and a canine massage therapist. She is excited to be part of Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital and is proud to be part of a progressive practice with a great philosophy regarding patient care and client service.

She and her husband share their home with 15 dogs, many of which are siberians. Many of the dogs choose to participate on the sled dog team. However, everyone has a job, from Activities Director to Psychologist to Lead Digger! In the spring and summer, much time is devoted to lazy days in the sun with the Sibes, but when the weather changes in the fall, the real fun begins. Training for the mushing season starts with short nightly dog runs, progressing to longer runs as everyone becomes conditioned. The dogs love doing community outreach when they can and often serve as demonstration dogs for Anastasia’s canine massage business.
